The North Coast Academy of Sport (NCAS) is pleased to announce its new partnership with Southern Cross Austereo (SCA). This collaboration reflects a mutual dedication to fostering youth athlete development throughout the North Coast and enhancing community connections through sport.
SCA – home to Triple M and Hit – has long shared NCAS’s goal of cultivating rising talent and celebrating sporting achievement. Under the new agreement, both organisations have come together to strengthen outcomes. SCA will offer essential media exposure, promotional backing, and opportunities for community engagement to support NCAS programs and athletes.
Mike Crowhurst, General Manager of SCA, shared his excitement about the new collaboration:
“Triple M and Hit are proud to join forces with the North Coast Academy of Sport, a highly respected local organisation dedicated to developing talent in our region. Partnerships like this play a vital role in helping locals achieve their sporting dreams and strengthening our community.”
The partnership will deliver a variety of initiatives, including dedicated media coverage of Academy events, athlete features, and joint outreach activities. These efforts aim to raise the visibility of local athletes and inspire future sporting stars.
D’Arcy Van den Bossche, Regional Manager NCAS, welcomed the formalised partnership, saying:
“We’re thrilled to collaborate with Southern Cross Austereo. Their involvement is instrumental in showcasing our athletes’ achievements and strengthening our connection with the broader community.”
NCAS remains committed to delivering a comprehensive development pathway for athletes, encompassing training, education, wellbeing, and career guidance. With SCA’s ongoing support, the Academy is poised to broaden its influence and achieve even greater success in 2025.
