The NCAS Golf Development Program is proudly supported by Jack Newton Junior Golf (JNJG) and regional golf associations. This program has been established to identify talented junior golfers on the North Coast and provide them with the coaching, competition, and education opportunities needed to progress to higher levels of the sport.

The program is based at Ocean Shores Country Club and is designed as a pathway into the NCAS Golf Program. It targets athletes born between 2012–2018, with boys holding a GA handicap between 12–30 and girls with a GA handicap between 19–40.

Running from November to April, the program includes structured training sessions, on-course development opportunities, and participation in selected golf days. In addition to technical coaching, athletes gain access to the NCAS Education Program, which provides development in areas such as strength and conditioning, nutrition, psychology, and athlete wellbeing, ensuring a holistic approach to their growth both on and off the course.

Selections are made by a panel including the NCAS Head Coach, representatives from Jack Newton Junior Golf, and regional golf associations. Athletes are assessed on development potential, attitude, performance history, and coachability, rather than handicap alone.

The NCAS Golf Development Program provides a supportive and professional pathway for young golfers, helping them take the next step in their sporting journey.
