Program Overview
The North Coast Academy of Sport Skate Program plays a vital role in identifying, monitoring, and developing the skills of young skateboarding athletes. Members of the squad will be exposed to expert coaching services, and sport specific education in areas such as strength and conditioning, nutrition, sport psychology, sport media & communications.
Supported by Skate Australia and in partnership with the Mid North Coast and Northern Rivers Skate Clubs, the Academy has worked to develop the NCAS Skate Program to be in alignment with the Skate Australia Strategic Plan 2023-2028. In delivering this program, we hope to assist our athletes with the next step in their sporting careers. The program will be conducted from October 2024 to April 2025.
