NCAS State Cycling Squad. 
A congratulations is in order for Jacob Steep. Jacob won selection into the NSW U17 cycling team, through competing in the NSW state titles. Key to being selected was Jacob’s performance in the 2km individual pursuit, where his time was 2nd quickest in NSW. Once selected, Jacob went to Anna Mears velodrome in QLD to complete in the national titles against every state and territory in Australia. The NSW team had 7 U17 men. Each state can have a different size squad, with an estimated over 50 u17 men from across the country. Jacob is only in his 2nd year on a track bike, so this truly is a massive achievement. 
Jacobs best was a 4th in the 3km team pursuit, and he also achieved top 10 finishes in the points race and the kierin.
